No one will blame you if you haven’t been keeping up to date on the latest from Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets.
For weeks now, there has been so much speculation and rumor but very little substantive information so it can all be a bit overwhelming and confusing.
It’s hard to follow at times but yes Kevin Durant would like to play with James Harden, who was in London with Durant around the time Durant met with Nets ownership. (Maybe Harden, an expert at forcing trades, is serving as an advisor.)

The latest rumor says Durant considers both the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers as “desired landing spots” for the new season.
But the plot thickens even more: Frank Isola reports that Durant would in fact like to play alongside his old teammate, James Harden.
Isola notes that Harden was with Durant in London when he met with the owner of the Nets.
It is suggested that maybe Harden, who knows a thing or two about forcing trades, is advising Durant about his next moves.
Will all of this result in Durant playing with Harden again?
An Unexpected Reunion
As you remember, Durant and Harden have played together twice before during their careers.
They got their start together with the upstart Oklahoma City Thunder and found great success in the West, even arriving at the NBA Finals once.
Years later, Harden was sent over to the Nets to play with Durant but that partnership was far less fruitful.
The two guys obviously like each other quite a bit and are friends outside of the game too.
The idea of playing together again is very attractive to them and could help them play harder and with more determination.
But this isn’t their choice to make: the Nets hold all the cards here and they will send Durant wherever they please and to whichever team puts together the best trade package.
They might be the best of buds but Durant and Harden may not be teammates again soon.
