In a candid Instagram Story posted on Friday, September 27, 2024, Nazizi revealed that during her most painful moments, she is visited by a particular butterfly, which appears at a significant time—around 2 am, when her son used to wake up.
“Guess who came last night… it’s always this particular butterfly, every time the pain is unbearable I’m visited by this exact color and size of butterfly and always around 2 am when my baby would wake up,” she wrote, offering a poignant glimpse into her emotional and spiritual journey.
The recurring presence of the butterfly has provided Nazizi with a sense of comfort, as she grapples with the profound loss of her son.
Nazizi lost her son Jazeel in a tragic accident while on vacation in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Christmas Day.
Jazeel fell to his death at the hotel where they were staying.
The body was transferred to Nairobi and buried on Wednesday, December 27, according to Muslim burial rites.
Nazizi has never been the same again since the tragic death of her son.
