the Nasarawa State Police Command, has launch a man hunt on the armed individuals who who kidnapped Safiyanu Isa-Andaha, the chairman of the Akwanga Local Government Area in the state

This was stated to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Lafia by DSP Ramhan Nansel, the public relations officer for the state police.

According to the PPRO, state police commissioner Umar Nadada had dispatched troops to track down the thugs and free the chairman and another individual who had been abducted.

According to the police spokeswoman, they received reports that the chairman and another person had been kidnapped in Ningo village, Akwanga LG, at approximately 8:30 p.m.“The police in collaboration with other security agencies are currently on the trail of the kidnappers to ensure the release of the council chairman and the other victim,” he said.

Nansel thus pleaded with the public to help the police by giving them important information that could result in the release of the kidnapped individuals and the capture of their captors. This was especially true for residents of nearby villages.
