Naked woman gets out of her car, then fires gun on busy bridge during rush hour (Video)

During rush hour on Tuesday, July 25, a naked woman in California caused a traffic halt on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge as she exited her car and started firing a gun, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.

The chaotic scene unfolded around 4:40 p.m. as the woman stopped her car in the middle of her lane and stepped out, holding a knife and yelling at other drivers, according to the cops.

After getting back into her vehicle, she continued driving towards Oakland. However, her erratic behavior did not end there. Upon reaching a toll plaza, she once again exited her car, this time completely naked and armed with a gun.

Terrifyingly, the woman began firing the weapon randomly at the occupied cars that were stuck behind her. Panicked drivers desperately called 911 to report the dangerous situation on the I-80 span, which crosses the San Francisco Bay.

Video footage captured the naked woman walking along the shoulder of the bridge and firing her gun into the air before law enforcement officers swiftly arrived at the scene.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, thanks to the quick response of the police.

The officers managed to convince the unnamed woman to surrender her weapon peacefully, and she was taken into custody without incident. Her motives for the shocking outburst remain unclear at this time.

Authorities have revealed that the woman will be placed on a mental health hold in a local hospital pending further evaluation. Once released, she is expected to face unspecified charges related to the dangerous incident that brought chaos to the Bay Bridge during one of the busiest hours of the day.
