  • The Imam revealed during an event that Naira Marley and Sam Larry had confessed to him that they were innocent and had nothing to do with his death.
  • The cleric further revealed that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were the ones who asked him to say a prayer for the killers of Mohbad.

Imam, a Nigerian priest, has disclosed how singer Naira Marley and his aide Sam Larry confided in him about the passing of the late Mohbad.

Recall that a few days prior, Naira Marley and Sam Larry were in the news after a video of them being made to say “Amen” to a prayer made for Mohbad killers went viral.

The Imam, who was seated alongside Naira Marley and Sam Larry in the viral video, prayed for the killers of the deceased Mohbad, a former signee of Marlians record label.

Remarkably, Naira and Sam Larry—who had maintained their innocence regarding their involvement in his demise—were observed remaining silent while the Imam prayed for the killers of the late singer. When the Imam realized this, he had to have Sam Larry and Naira Marley say “Amen” to his prayers.

Speaking now, the Imam disclosed that they had admitted to him during a gathering that they were innocent of the accusation levelled against them.

The preacher added that Naira Marley and Sam Larry had asked him to pray for Mohbad’s killers during their meeting.

He said:

“In all we do let’s have the fear of God. I liked Mohbad because he was a glorious child like us. Sam Larry and Naira Marley confessed and told me they had nothing to do with Mohbad’s death. They asked me to say a prayer for the person who killed Mohbad”.

Few days ago, the late singer’s mom opened up on how Naira Marley and his guys killed Mohbad after he refused to push cocaine for them .

She disclosed that Mohbad was targeted by a group of individuals, with over three people actively conspiring against him. She described the situation as a collective act.

According to Mohbad’s mother, her son made the courageous decision to sever ties with his former boss, Naira Marley, after being asked to take part in an illegal activity. Specifically, he was allegedly urged to engage in the trafficking of cocaine, a proposal that he vehemently refused to comply with.
