Ayra Starr is one of the inaugural candidates for Best African Music Performance at the 2024 Grammys, with her record-breaking smash song “Rush.”
The brilliant singer said in an interview with Cool FM presented by OAP Do2dtun that she is already preparing for her big day, which is scheduled for Sunday, February 4.
When asked what she would do first if she won the prize, Ayra said she would go to her favourite Chinese restaurant, eat a lot, and then video call her mother.
Ayra Starr also said that she has already rehearsed her walk, picked her wardrobe for the big day, and prepared her Grammy speech.
She hoped to get the prize, but she has planned a speech and dress for next year in case she does not.
