Tochi Wigwe, the daughter of late Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe, goes emotional and, as a result, bursts into tears while paying tribute to her father.

A tribute service was organized to honour Dr. Herbert Wigwe. It was an event attended by Nigeria’s business and political world.

It was an opportunity for friends, colleagues, partners, and classmates to pay their respects to Dr. Wigwe.

Wigwe died tragically in a helicopter crash on Friday night, February 9th, along with his wife and son.

Tochi Wigwe was brought up to the stage to pay respect to her late father and, by extension, describe who her father was to her.

According to her, she despises public speaking, but her late father tried to persuade her that he disliked it as well, but it was something he had to do.

Tochi Wige reflected on her late father, Herbert Wigwe, and described him as an extraordinary man who was motivated, determined, and constantly exceeded expectations.

She stated her late father constantly encouraged her to reach new heights she never imagined. She went on to say that whenever her mind was clouded with doubt, her father would tell her that she didn’t know who she was as a daughter until after his death.

Tochi Wigwe went on to say that her father was a feminist and an advocate of equality, and that distance is no barrier for him because he always checks in on her no matter how far away she is, describing him as a wonderful blessing in her life.

According to Tochi, her late father, Wigwe, used to call her and her mother the two most beautiful people in the world, and he gave her the name “Pretty.”

She stated that her father was always interested in her life and even inquired about her ideas about Wigwe University, saying that he was a constant source of encouragement for her.

Tochi expressed her gratitude to her late father, stating that whenever he raised his voice at her, he would return an hour later to apologize to her.

In her words; “My father was a paradox, a tower Of strength, with a heart as soft as silk…”

@fortunista_by_iv: I lost both parents one after the other when I was a teenager almost 20 years ago , her pain is raw and unimaginable! They said time heals the pain.. I think it’s just something we tell ourselves to feel better… the pain never really goes away. May God console her.

@priscalbeauty: She’s strong cause, I wouldn’t stay or talk that long without breakingdown , nothing can heal this type of painspeaking from experience.
