A young Nigerian lady shows off her father’s hometown house as she joins the viral trend of showing off mansions built by parents in the village.
This comes amidst the viral trends of Easterners returning home for Christmas and New Year festivities while making video content from their arrival to mansions.
One TikTok user identified as Giftyluv, however, joined the trend only to show off her father’s property, different from the expectations set by others before her.
“My dad forgot to build a mansion in the village,” she captioned the video while sharing.
Her dad’s village house has since generated a wave of reactions across the platform as many applauded her for having the courage to show it without the pressure to meet the flashy criteria.
