According to his manager Collins Odindo, the doctor advsied him to take a bed rest and remain under supervision for several days.
“We regret to inform you that Jua Cali is currently on hospital under observation. His doctors have advised him to remain on bed and under supervision for the next two or three days,” read the statement in part.
The manager however didn’t disclose the condition that Jua Cali was battling, neither did he reveal the hospital he was admitted in.
Due to the situation, Jua Cali has been forced to cancel plans he had for this weekend, when Kenyans will be marking Mashujaa Day .
“We are extremely disappointed with this turn of events, especially as it comes just before the much anticipated performances this weekend. Our thoughts are withJua Cali and we wish him a swift recovery. We also extend out support to his family, friends and fans during this time,” the management further stated, promising to share an update on Jua Cali’s condition.
In his Insta stories, Jua Cali shared a video where he was being pushed on a wheel chair.
“Mwili imesema no,” he captioned a video.
He also shared another photo while in hospital bed as the doctor carried out some tests on him.
