Talented Nollywood thespian, Deyemi Okanlawon has affirmed that not all famous actors are well-to-do, as some are broken.
Deyemi took to Twitter where he advised that actors should sometimes go for the highest-earning role and not always target the highest feature or grossing movie, as it does not always equate a “big bag”.
He wrote:
“Not every time aim for HIGHEST GROSSING or HIGHEST FEATURED… more often reach for HIGHEST EARNING! #alist”
The tweet by the actor got Twitter users wondering how fame does not equate to wealth. A user asked:
“I thought the fame brings the bag??”
Deyemi’s reply reads:
“There are lots of famous broke ppl… fame is a byproduct, it’s the talent and the grind (work strategy and work ethic) that brings the bag”
