Mercy Aigbe promises daughter, Michelle, a master’s degree

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has once again made it clear to her fans and well-wishers about her aspiration for a master’s degree for her daughter, Michelle, who recently earned her degree from a Canadian university.

Gistreel previously reported on the presence of Mercy Aigbe at her daughter’s graduation in Canada, where she was seen shedding tears of joy.

In a similar post, Michelle expressed her appreciation for her mother and how she has contributed to making her the woman she is today.

During the celebration, the happy mother, in a fresh post, promised her daughter a master’s degree.

She wrote: “I’m flooding your timeline with joy. The picture on the left was the day Michelle left Nigeria, a day filled with a roller coaster of emotions for me. I was happy because it had always been my dream, but I was also super scared that she would be all by herself in a strange land.”

“I couldn’t go with her that day due to financial constraints as I had used all my money to pay school fees (a story for another day).”

“I had to send her unaccompanied, stayed up all night, kept waiting for my phone to ring, and worried a lot. You have no idea how tough it was for me, but God showed up strong.”

“The picture on the right is NOW! God made my dream come true, kept me in great health to witness this day, and empowered me to see her through (it wasn’t easy, but God’s infinite mercy prevailed).”

“There were times I almost gave up. I remember a particular year when it wasn’t easy. I had even told Michelle that she might need to come back and finish her education in one of the universities back home.” 

“I had too many responsibilities, and things were not going smoothly, but I never stopped working. And GOD DID IT!”
