Men who ask women what they bring to the table are trying to break the table – Yetunde Bakare

Nigerian actress Yetunde Bakare has disclosed that she has never been asked by a man what she “brings to the table” in a love relationship, despite it being a hot topic of conversation.

The attractive actress said that since it is not a common question, no one has posed it to her. Still, she thinks that guys who ask such questions probably don’t think the lady in question will be their partner in the future.

The comment was made in a recent interview by Yetunde Bakare, who noted that the man might have realized via observation that the relationship and the woman in question lacked purpose and forethought.

The dark-skinned beauty added that it might also be a pretext for him to let her go. Rather than ending things formally, he asks her what she brings to the table and then waits for the relationship to end naturally when she is unable to respond.

According to Yetunde Bakare:

“I personally think that is not a general question. Nobody has ever asked me that. I feel men often ask such questions when they don’t see the woman they are with as someone who has potential.

“He might have studied her and realised that she does not have foresight, or that she lacks vision and purpose. He might also see her as someone who is more interested in a luxury lifestyle that she cannot afford on her own. I feel it is just an excuse for the man to let such a woman go.”
