Former Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Fernández, has said that Kylian Mbappe staying at the club next season is the correct decision for the forward.
PSG closes the season on Saturday night against Metz in the Parc des Princes.
The game could be the last of Mbappe with the shirt of the Parisian team, although Fernandez recommends that the France World Cup winner continues in Paris to become a great leader.
“We are all impatiently waiting for Kylian to make the proper announcement. The correct decision would be to stay so that he becomes the great leader of Paris that everyone expects.
“He is capable of doing it. As a fan, I would like him to say that he is going to continue at PSG… If he stays, don’t hesitate to announce it after the game, it will be a crazy night (laughs),” Luis Fernandez told Le Parisien.
Meanwhile, Mbappe, who has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, is expected to make an announcement after the Metz game regarding his future.
