Mayor Eric Adams parties for his birthday, Fashion Week

It was a busy week for Eric Adams, the city’s party-loving mayor who celebrated his 62nd birthday and New York Fashion Week.

A source exclusively tells Page Six the mayor-about-town was out celebrating his birthday by attending a number of bashes.

We’re told one small affair, attended by about 30 guests, took place at a building that’s also home to Chelsea Clinton, though she was nowhere to be seen — with pals including NYC Commissioner for International Affairs Edward Mermelstein, CEO of Silverstein Properties Marty Burger, Real Deal founder Amir Korangy and Zero Bond whiz Scott Sartiano.

Adams also got on stage at the Rise Up New York City concert in Staten Island on his actual birthday, Sept. 1.

According to the Daily Beast, Adams was set to have a birthday bash at members-only club The Ned with guests including French Montana, David Blaine and Travis Scott. Sadly, Page Six is told this isn’t true and that Adams has been to the club just one time for a tour.

The Ned’s Richie Akiva and the owner of Adams’ favorite club Zero Bond, Sartiano, formerly owned 1Oak together before a falling out. While we hear the report is incorrect, we love that it reads as a perfect piece of fan fiction about our club kid mayor: “They are fighting over Eric Adams like he’s a Victoria’s Secret model,” a source told the pub.

Adams’ communications director tells us, “The mayor had only one birthday party, with a small group of friends. The mayor is frequently out late, following dinner with tours of the subway, visiting homeless shelters and walking around the city. He believes this is a 24-hour city and we need a 24-hour mayor.”

Adams hosted his own bash at Gracie Mansion with Vogue editor Anna Wintour — whom he dubbed “an angel that wears Prada” — and other fashion bigs on Thursday.

“New York is as cool as can be right now in Gracie Mansion with these wonderful folks with swagger,” Adams reportedly told a crowd that included designers Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch, Thom Browne, Diane von Furstenberg, Wes Gordon, Michael Kors, Aurora James, Stacey Bendet and Cynthia Rowley.

Adams also praised the industry as “a $600 million juggernaut just in this week alone,” noting it’s “twice the amount we make than if we had the Super Bowl here.”

Also in the room rubbing elbows with the celebrity groupie mayor were models Emily Ratajkowski, Karlie Kloss, Shalom Harlow, CFDA head Steven Kolb and the Met museum’s Andrew Bolton.

Adams was on the Met Gala carpet in May in a tux that read “End Gun Violence” and sat front-row last season at a Michael Kors show. He’ll next be the guest of honor at a “pasta ribbon cutting” for a new Serafina Express.

Adams doesn’t shy away from putting the party in political party. The New York Times reported that the mayor said, “People thought this city was a 9-to-5 city. It was just a flannel-suit city. And all of a sudden January 2022 comes about and the mayor comes in and says he’s the nightlife mayor.”

Page Six has reported on Adams’ countless nights out at clubs like Zero Bond and Aman NY and his attendance at celebrity events like French Montana’s album release, Jennifer Lopez’s Tribeca Festival celebration and hip-hop’s 49th birthday with KRS One. He also recently hung out with Paris Hilton and pals at a private club in Los Angeles.

Another source tells Page Six exclusively that the NY Times’ recent report on the mayor’s nighttime habits, which stated he went out a whopping 22 times in one month, was actually too low. We hear he was out almost every night but that the reporters set to track the mayor went home around 11 p.m. while the mayor sometimes hit the town ’til later.
