Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has revealed the warning he gave to new signings Joao Felix and Jadon Sancho.
Felix and Sancho joined the Blues in the just concluded summer transfer window, with the former joining from Atletico Madrid and Sancho from Manchester United on deadline day.
Maresca who has since resumed duties as new Chelsea boss revealed a stern warning he gave the duo on attitude to work.
In a recent press conference ahead of their clash with Bournemouth on Saturday, Maresca mentioned the benchmark to earn a place in his squad.
“I spoke with Sancho and Joao Felix when they joined and I told them: if you come here and don’t work properly, then you’re not going to play”.
“Before they arrived the message for them was clear,” he added, as was revealed by football insider Fabrizio Romano.
