Man shares encounter with pastor that made him stop going to church

A Nigerian man, Shola shares personal experience with a pastor that made him stop attending church services.

In a post that has captured attention on X, the man revealed that he used to be a churchgoer, but an experience he had there engendered doubt in him.

According to Shola, when he had needed something and gone to the pastor, the clergyman had simply told him to pray to God.

Shola remarked that when the church needed something, they had come to him instead.

“I stopped going to church when I needed something and the pastor told me to pray, but the church needed something and he told me to give,” he wrote.
