A user on the X platform going by the handle @steevaneagain described how he was unable to buy his girlfriend a fan of the artist, a Valentine’s Day gift.
With just a shot remaining, he sent Korede Bello a direct message on Instagram, explaining his financial predicament and how he could support their relationship.
He begged the artist to like a picture of his girlfriend, saying that it would mean the world to her.
“Nigga abeg biko follow my bae Olamide please please please … Just click the username from here nd please comment on one of her posts that its me o, u can even mention me too. That’s her val gift, me no get money,” he wrote.
Fortunately, Korede saw the message and responded, “Done,” while following all instructions. Nine years later, when he looked back on the gesture, the social media user thanked the artist for the kind gift to his relationship.
“Around this time in 2015, @koredebello preserved my relationship. 😂😂,” he recounted while sharing their chat.
