Amid the high cost of petrol, a man who entered a truck’s tank to allegedly steal fuel has died.

The body of the man was removed by residents from the fuel truck which was parked in a yet-to-be-identified street.

It was gathered that the unknown man had entered the truck’s tank to steal fuel but had somehow gotten stuck.

How he had died – whether by drowning or asphyxiation from fuel fume – is at the time of writing, unknown.

In the video which surfaced online, onlookers gathered and watched as the lifeless body of the man was pulled out of the tank.

One voice among the spectators could be heard wailing and chastising the dead for being greedy for wealth and throwing his life over fuel.
