Man asks if it is normal to love and not want them to succeed

South African man leaves many mouths open as he wonders if it is normal to love somebody to the point you don’t want them to succeed in life.

The young man took to his page on the microblogging platform, X, @mbusow, to share the question that has been bothering him.

Going by his question, when he loves deeply, he hopes they don’t get successful so that they don’t get to leave him behind.

Many Netizens have disagreed with his point of view, claiming it is not love but something closer to witchcraft if you don’t want to see the one you love succeed.
