Locals troop out in numbers as goalkeeper, Nwabali allegedly storms his village in convoy of cars

A video shows the moment Stanley Nwabali, a beloved Super Eagles goalkeeper, allegedly returned to his village in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Nwabali, who captivated the hearts of Nigerians with his spectacular performance at the just ended 2023 AFCON competition, was greeted by inhabitants of his village in a kingly way.

A video released by famous blogger Tunde Ednut shows Nwabali arriving in a convoy of automobiles.

Residents who were overjoyed to get the goaltender could be seen following the cars closely.

Ednut captioned the video:

“Mwabali went back to his village in PH. He’s now a mega Super Star. Amazing!!! ⚽️
When it’s your time, it’s your time, e go be like say na only you God bless when it’s your time.”
