Nigerian rapper, songwriter and actor, Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz or Falz The Bad Guy has recalled juggling two major careers at a point in his life.
The versatile singer disclosed that he was once a lawyer by day and rapper by night.
The 34 year old made this known while narrating how he led a double life when he was practicing law.
Speaking on the challenges, the rapper noted that it was not easy balancing his two careers.
Falz in an episode of UK podcaster, Madam Joyce’s show, explained that there was a legal rule prohibiting lawyers from engaging in other activities while practicing law. In his words:
“There was a time I was in court, and living a double life at the time as well. Lawyer by day, rapper by night.
“So when I announced my appearance ‘With profound respect my lord, the name is Folarin Falana, appearing for the plaintiff’ and the judge lowered his glasses and said ‘counsel, are you not the one doing something else on the side?’
“There is an unspoken rule of professional conduct within the legal practice where you are not supposed to do other things.”
Days ago Falz shared his spec in his ideal woman.
The 34 year old rapper who appeared as a guest on the Cocktails and Takeaways podcast confessed to having a thing for short skirts and dresses, stating that it makes women look sexy.
