The late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, was interred on Friday, with numerous condolence messages directed towards Governor Umo Eno and the residents of Akwa Ibom State.
Previously, Gistreel reported that former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi conveyed his sincere condolences, characterizing her passing as a profound loss for the Governor, their children, the state, and the nation as a whole. He offered prayers for divine comfort and strength for the bereaved family during this challenging time. In a similar vein, the Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND) expressed its condolences, honoring the late First Lady as a revered “Mother of the State.”
Governor Umo Eno expressed his appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and to Nigerians both domestically and internationally for their tremendous support, affection, and prayers.
During a memorial service held in tribute to his wife, the Governor acknowledged the overwhelming kindness received throughout the funeral proceedings at his residence in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.
