- Omorogbe was arraigned on February 22, 2024, at the Etiosa Magistrate Court, Ajah, and remanded to Kirikiri Female Correctional Centre until the next hearing on March 27, 2024.
The 26-year-old Omorogbe Jennifer Soni has been charged with severe assault by the Lagos State Police Command after it was captured on camera that she had attacked a police officer in Ajah on February 21, 2024.
Omorogbe and the policewoman got into a heated dispute, and as the woman tried to approach her car, Omorogbe shoved her, sending her to the ground.
Omorogbe was arraigned the following day, February 22, 2024, before the Etiosa Magistrate Court, Ajah, according to a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin. He has been remanded to the Kirikiri Female Correctional Centre until the next hearing, which is scheduled for March 27, 2024.
“The Lagos State Police Command advises Lagosians to abide by the law in all of their daily interactions with people, as those found guilty of breaking it will face legal consequences.”Hundeyin said.
