Kodak Black has a bone to pick with NBA YoungBoy’s manager, Alex Junnier, who he has accused of copying his tour idea.
The Florida rapper made the claim during an Instagram Live earlier this week, just days after Junnier announced that YoungBoy is set to embark on a 30-city tour with Quando Rondo beginning in Chicago — the home of YB’s rival, Lil Durk and the late King Von, who was shot and killed following an altercation with Rondo’s crew in late 2020.
“They tried to tell a n-gga I couldn’t come to — I forgot what place that was — I made that my first stop on the tour. YB’s manager used to be around me so he know how I go, he know how a n-gga operate — that’s why they made that their first stop,” said Kodak, who used to be managed by Junnier.
He added: “They know that’s my type of shit. ‘Oh yeah, they can’t come here? First stop!’ … There could be smoke, but you ain’t finna tell a n-gga he can’t come nowhere because I gotta pick up checks over here.”

Kodak Black seemed to be referring to his Dying to Live Tour, which journeyed across North America in 2019 in support of his album of the same name. The 32-city trek kicked off in New Orleans, not too far from NBA YoungBoy’s native Baton Rouge.
Yak and YoungBoy have been going back and forth since 2017, with no end to their feud in sight. Things escalated once again this past summer when the “Super Gremlin” rapper called out his rival’s “irritating” fans on Twitter for flooding his social media posts with “YB Better” comments and hashtags.
YoungBoy subliminally fired back by writing, “Ps. you don’t like my fans I don’t like you ‘pussy’ #TLS,” while promoting his Last Slimeto album on Instagram following its August 5 release.
The exchange seemingly fueled an explosive Twitter rant from Kodak, who declared: “Bitch Ass N-ggas KNOW FIRSTHAND I STAND UP TO DAT SMOKE ! I Could Never B Pussy BIG MONKEY NUTS #YOUKNOW FR FR ! I WAS BUSSIN MY ION FR 12 YRS OLD DAT !!!! FUCK A STEPPA !”
Prior to the back-and-forth, Kodak actually proposed doing a joint tour with NBA YoungBoy last September. “They talkin’ like $20Ms for a tour like that,” he said on Instagram Live. “I needs that!”
