Kathy Lee Gifford doesn’t want to jinx it.
The 69-year-old recently revealed she’s still going strong with a “special” man, but didn’t give any hints on his mystery identity.
“I have someone very special in my life,” she told People on Monday. “I’ve discovered that by not talking about it, it stays special.”
While not much is known about Gifford’s special someone, the pair seem to have started dating over a year ago.
Back in April 2021, the former “Today” host revealed that she was in a “really special relationship with somebody,” describing their budding romance as “nice, fun and healthy.”
“It’s just happy, and I don’t want to mess it up, and I probably already have by just even mentioning it,” Gifford said during an episode of the NBC morning show. “To be in a place where you feel like every aspect of your life is good, that nothing’s missing, that’s a beautiful place to be. I’m just so grateful.”
She went on to say her beau is “the smartest person [she’s] ever met, and he’s funny.”
The former “Live” co-host was married to Frank Gifford for almost three decades, from 1986 until his death in 2015. She shares son Cody, 32 and daughter Cassidy, 29 with the former NFL star.
In October 2020, the mother of two revealed she was ready to start dating again, but had no desire to find love using an online dating platform.
“When people ask me, ‘Are you looking for love?’ my attitude has got to be, well, I’m not actively looking for it. I can’t go on websites, and you know, dating apps and all that kind of stuff,” she told longtime pal Jill Martin on her “Holiday Steals and Deals” special on Peacock at the time.
While it’s unclear how the couple met, the former talk show star seems smitten.
