Kate Moss’ daughter Lila stars in first Calvin Klein campaign

Thirty years after Kate Moss’ iconic topless Calvin Klein campaign, the supermodel’s daughter, Lila, is following in her high-fashion footsteps.

The 19-year-old makes her debut in the all-American brand’s fall 2022 ads alongside the likes of Blackpink’s Jennie, “Euphoria” actor Dominic Fike and indie darling Chloë Sevigny, notably covering up a bit more than her mom did back in the day.

In one image, Lila models a black bra beneath a sheer button-up shirt, her baggy black jeans slung low on her hips; in another, her Calvin Klein-branded boxers peek out above the waistband of another pair of slouchy blues.

Since making her modeling debut for Marc Jacobs Beauty in 2018 at the age of 16, Lila’s gone on to grace runways for Miu Miu, Fendi and Versace (occasionally alongside her famous mom), cover British Vogue and snag a coveted invite to the most fashionable night of the year: the Met Gala.

The rising style star, who has Type 1 diabetes, has also made headlines for proudly showing off her insulin pump on runways and red carpets alike.

Hopefully Lila had a more enjoyable experience on the set of her Calvin Klein ads than her mother, who recently said she felt “vulnerable and scared” while shooting her career-making campaign opposite Mark Wahlberg in the early ’90s, when she was 17.

“I think they played on my vulnerability,” Kate revealed during an interview on BBC Radio 4’s “Desert Island Discs” radio show in July, adding that she struggled with “severe anxiety”while preparing to pose and felt “completely” objectified on set.

“I was quite young and innocent, so Calvin loved that.”

Kate also described co-star Wahlberg as “very macho,” saying that he made the day “all about him.” (Even Calvin Klein himself recalled the pair not getting along, quipping in 2010 that the iconic shoot “didn’t go too well.”)

“I think I was probably a little rough around the edges,” Wahlberg admitted during a 2010 interview with The Guardian, before adding that he and Kate have since “said hi and exchanged pleasantries” at events.
