Nothing says “I love you” quite like a tattoo.
Kate Beckinsale paid homage to her mother and daughter with two tattoos. On Wednesday, the actress shared a photo of her recent arm tats, tagging artist Brian Keith Thompson.
The tiny tats say “mama” in different handwriting, spelled out by mom British actress Judy Loe, 75, and daughter Lily Sheen, 23, whom she shares with ex Michael Sheen.
“The two I’ll kill and die for,” the “Underworld” actress, 49, dramatically captioned the Instagram photo, adding another picture of her mom and daughter hugging.
“Beautiful,” one follower commented, writing, “To think that at one point in time both you and Lily started life inside of your mama. Gotta love the human body!” Fans called their bond “sacred” and dubbed the tattoos “so sweet.”
Beckinsale and her daughter are extremely close. In April, Lily told Page Six she’s “very protective over her” mom, especially after the “Pearl Harbor” actress received criticism from trolls in 2019 when she briefly dated Pete Davidson. “My mum is amazing,” Lily raved.
Sheen appears to be following in her family footsteps; she starred alongside Nicholas Cage in “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent,” which premiered at the South by Southwest festival (SXSW) in March.
“So proud of you, @lily_sheen,” Beckinsale wrote on Instagram at the time to support her daughter. “My beautiful brilliant baby is in this FANTASTIC, electric, vibrant, hilarious movie. … The movie is bonkers and amazing and everyone is wonderful but obviously she’s my favorite. So excited to see you fly, little bird.”
“Thank you queen wowza!!!!!!!!” Lily commented. “You are the blueprint.”
