Nigerias music producer, singer and most recently blogger, Samuel Ogwuachuba “Samklef” who has over time been an advocate for good governance has once again spoken up in a rather unique and loud voice.
This time, Samklef who is currently resident in the United States Of America, staged a one man protest at the Nigerian Embassy in Washington DC to call the world’s attention to the recent killings in the southern part of Kaduna State and general insurgency and insecurity plaguing the country.
It’s noteworthy to mention that singer, Joe El’s father was shot dead by armed bandits in Kaduna State in the ongoing unrest.
According to Samklef, “Its sad that Nigeria is witnessing this level of carnage and insecurity but what’s more depressing is the lacklustre and I don’t care attitude of our elected leaders who have steadily paid lip service to the cries on poor Nigerians. Enough Is Enough and we must rise in unison, speak with one voice and take action”.
