Real Madrid’s midfielder Jude Bellingham has won the 2023 Golden Boy award, joining Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
The 20-year-old England international has had a remarkable year, making a significant impact at Real Madrid since his arrival.
Bellingham, who also received the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or awards in October, expressed joy adding the Golden Boy prize.
“I’m proud to win the Golden Boy Award. My secret is the responsibility since I was a kid in the Academy. I want to get better every day and help Real Madrid. My focus is on that.”
On his £88 million move to Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund last summer, Bellingham stated his dream to win trophies.
“Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I’m proud to play for Madrid. I want to win all the trophies with my club and England national team.”
Bellingham has made a statement with his start in Spain, scoring 15 goals in 17 appearances across all competitions.
