Johnny Drille finally speaks on relationship with rumoured girlfriend, Tomi Ojo, after secret wedding

Johnny Drille, Nigerian singer also recognized as John Ighodaro, has dismissed rumors regarding a romantic involvement with Tomi Ojo, an up-and-coming actress.

The promotion of Johnny’s hit track, ‘Believe Me’, triggered speculation about his romantic relationship with Tomi, as the scenes they portrayed in the music video emitted a strong sense of romance, thereby fueling dating rumors.

On Tuesday, the revelation of Johnny’s clandestine marriage to Rima Tahini, the Director A&R at Mavin Records, put an end to the circulating rumors about him dating the actress.

In a recent interview with Hip TV, Johnny clarified the reports about their relationship, emphasizing that they are merely friends.

Adding to his statement, the music star enthusiastically praised Tomi Ojo, reteirated that she is an incredible and exceptional person who delivered an outstanding performance in the hit music video.

Johnny Drille said,

“First of all, if you watched the [‘Believe Me’ music] video, you would know that there are two Ojos in the song.

“One is Wale Ojo, the other one is Tomi Ojo. It was in a way some kind of pun but it seemed to work well together.

But as regards relationship, Tomi Ojo is an amazing person. She’s fantastic person to work with. She’s very great for the music video. That is the much I can say. That’s all I can say.”
