Joe Igbokwe to Davido after singer cried out over plot to cancel his show due to interview

Notable singer, Davido’s recent comments on Nigeria’s economy undoubtedly triggered a buzz online, sparking varying opinions.

OBO in an interview with a US radio station had advised Africans, particularly Nigerians, against returning to Nigeria due to the country’s struggling economy.

Davido’s comments were met with criticism from many Nigerians, including politician Joe Igbokwe.

Igbokwe in a post on his Facebook page advised Davido to accept his mistake and apologize to Nigerians.

The politician made this statement while reacting to a comment from Davido where he cried out over ongoing plot to cancel his show in Lagos simply because of the interview.

Reacting, Igbokwe wrote:

“Actions Carry Consequences. Accept your mistakes and apologize to Nigerians.”
