A celebration of love surrounded by a “Modern Family.”
Jesse Tyler Ferguson revealed on social media that he officiated his “Modern Family” co-star Sarah Hyland’s wedding to “Bachelorette” alum Wells Adams Saturday.
“I had the best seat in the house for this stunner of a wedding. What an honor to marry my two dear friends @sarahhyland & @wellsadams,” the actor, 46, wrote on Instagram alongside two photos of Hyland and Adams’ kissing on their wedding day.
“I couldn’t be happier for you love bugs,” he continued, before joking, “I also do Bar Mitzvahs.”
Ferguson — who played Mitchell Pritchett, Hyland’s character’s uncle, on the show — wore a bright blue suit as he lead the stunning outdoor ceremony at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, Calif.
In the photo, the “Ugly Betty” actor beamed as he stood back to watch as the newlyweds share their first kiss as husband and wife.
Ferguson’s husband of nearly a decade, Justin Mikita, was also there to celebrate the “epic” wedding.
The groom, 38, was quick to thank Ferguson for his role in the nuptials, commenting, “I love you so much @jessetyler! Thank you for everything 🥰.”
Adams and Hyland finally said “I do” under a sea of pink flowers and lanterns at the California vineyard surrounded by some of their famous friends and family.
Hyland’s bridal party included influencer and actress Ciara Robinson, Vanessa Hudgens and musician GG Magree.
Some of her other “Modern Family” co-stars, including Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Nolan Gould and Ariel Winter, attended the big event, along with some of Adams’ “Bachelor” friends such as Nick Viall, Chris Soules and Ben Higgins.
As the officiant, Ferguson was one of the first guests to catch a glimpse of the bride as she made her way down the aisle in a light ivory silk faille ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and pleated bodice.
Hyland, 31, paired the Vera Wang gown with a cathedral-length Italian tulle veil and crystal-trimmed white pumps while Adams kept things simple in a black and white Gucci suit.
When it came time for the reception, the “Love Island USA” host changed into a slimmer, soft white Italian crepe gown with draped Italian tulle sleeves.
The couple finally tied the knot more than three years after Adams popped the question. They were originally set to say “I do” in August 2020 but were forced to postpone their wedding twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
