Jackie Matubia Reveals Origin Of Her Problems With Blessings And Why They Don’t Co-parent

Jackie Matubia has admitted that she got into a relationship with Blessing Lungaho before she healed from her first broken marriage.

According to her, she moved on to prove to people that she is loved. She was however clear with Blessing that she didn’t want marriage and when he proposed, it was the beginning of their relationship issues.

“I told him I do no want marriage, I was very clear I don’t want anything like walking down the aisle. Our issues started when we got engaged because I was very specific that I didn’t want it.

“Having a child, I told myself that I will sit back and take time. In the delivery room when I got Zendaya, my eyes opened and I constantly asked myself is this the kind of life you want to live again, over and over again,” she told Dr. Ofweneke.

When she separated with Blessing, Jackie said that she begged him to be in her life but her efforts didn’t bear fruits.

“When I told the dad to go, he left and in my head this was not the first time to raise a child out of marriage and to co-parent. I fought, God knows that I fought for the dad to be in the daughter’s life but you can not force a man. I tried coz I see what it does to my other daughter, Baba Zari we are very good friends, it rubs all the fighting. A man that is there for the child for me it scratches everything that I went through with him. I begged,” she recounted.

Unable to convince him she decided to be her daughter’s mother and father at the same time.

“I failed. Nilimchagulia baba mwenye hamtaki. I thank God for my nanny coz that woman took care of Zendaya. Mimi nimezoea kusaidiwa na huyu baby daddy mwingine sasa huyu(Zendaya) kila kitu ni mimi, the love is coming from one parent, leave material things, love, assurance, protection one parent and this are the things the dad is supposed to provide,” she said
