“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jackie Goldschneider thinks Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga made “the right decision” by skipping Teresa Giudice’s wedding.
“Knowing the lead-up to making that decision, I was not shocked at all,” Goldschneider, 45, said on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap” Wednesday.
“I completely understand and support them not having attended the wedding. It was the right decision for them, for sure.”
The former real estate attorney then teased that fans of the Bravo reality series will “understand” when they watch the upcoming 13th season.
Goldschneider also shared that the drama between Teresa, 50, and Melissa, 43, became so bad that she feels it will be nearly impossible for the sisters-in-law to reconcile.
“I just feel like it’s been so many years with terrible drama between the two families,” she explained.
“At some point, it’s so toxic that you have to walk away. I think that is the point she is at right now, but who knows, they always seem to go back. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the end. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not.”
Page Six broke the news that the Gorgas would not attend on Giudice and Luis Louie” Ruelas’ “I dos” on Aug. 6 after an argument broke out during the finale party over the bride allegedly spreading a cheating rumor about her sister-in-law.
“Sometimes when things are too toxic and you try over and over and over again and it just keeps coming back around to the same thing … even if it’s family, you have to let it go,” Melissa said on her “On Display” podcast last Thursday.
The Envy boutique owner also suggested that they had “past altercations” with Ruelas, 48, they “never talked about” and will continue to keep quiet to appease Giudice.
“To me, it was devastating,” Joe, 42, chimed in. “It was one of the hardest days of my life.”
Both Giudice and Ruelas have kept tight-lipped on the snub — although he did shut down a rumor that his new wife sent a bill to the Gorgas for their last-minute absence.
Season 13 of “RHONJ” wrapped filming prior to Giudice’s wedding, which was taped for a standalone special.
