Popular Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has sparked outrage online after discussing about riches.
Taking to his verified page on the famous microblogging network X, formerly known as Twitter, the wealthy musician stated that having money oneself is boring.
Davido made the statement in the midst of a scandal and petitions brought against him by singer Tiwa Savage and his first babymama Sophia Momodu.
Davido’s tweet has sparked a rush of responses from his admirers on X.
While some fans took advantage of the opportunity to directly request aid from the artist, others pushed Davido to consider spreading his money among his supporters.
Davido wrote; “It’s boring having money by yourself.”
