“It’s a sin” – Nigerian lady cries out as church removes her wig and burns it, orders her to kneel

A Nigerian lady identified as @wealthy_dee001 has stirred controversy after sharing her shocking experience of having her wig burnt in a church.

According to @wealthy_dee001’s account, she accompanied her mother to a church service in their village, expecting a routine religious gathering.

However, she was left stunned when the congregation proceeded to remove her wig and subsequently set it ablaze.

The church members then instructed her to kneel and ask for forgiveness from God, citing her wig-wearing as a sin against God.

Expressing her confession, @wealthy_dee001 revealed that she had no prior knowledge of wearing wigs being deemed as an abomination in Nigerian churches.
