A Nigerian lady identified on Twitter as @Aunty_naya screamed out after joining a local contribution organization known as ‘ajo,’ only to find herself in an unusual circumstance when it was her turn to receive her share of the funds.
A screenshot of a WhatsApp message exchange between @Aunty_naya and the contribution holder went viral on social media, revealing an unprecedented cause for her money delay.
@Aunty_naya messaged the group holder, excited to receive her gift, only to receive a surprise response.
Instead of the holder, a friend of the holder responded, revealing that the donation holder was currently in a trance at her church and would be available to make the payment the next day.
She wrote;
“She is on trance at church and she will be coming down tomorrow. Have been holding her phone since Thursday.”
