Inter Milan are reportedly close to securing a new sponsorship agreement with Qatar Airways for the 2023/24 season.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Qatar-based airline is open to become the official carrier of Inter Milan for the current season, with the deal close to being finalized.
Qatar Airways has previously held sponsorship agreements with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Formula 1, to show deep involvement in sports partnerships.
If the deal progresses as anticipated, Qatar Airways could also become Inter’s kit sponsor in the 2024/25 season, provided the club does not renew its existing agreement with Paramount+. Paramount+ has served as Inter’s primary sponsor since May 2023.
Inter Milan have been active in expanding its sponsorship portfolio recently, with agreements secured with eBay and U-Power.
Inter under the leadership of manager Simone Inzaghi, shares the top spot in Serie A with cross-town rivals AC Milan.
The team are also gearing up for their Champions League clash against Benfica following a 1-1 draw in their opening group stage match against Real Sociedad.
