Inter Miami has signed Harvey Neville from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliate side Inter Miami 2, through the 2024 Major League Soccer season with options for 2025 and 2026.
He will not occupy an international slot on the roster, after receiving his U.S. Green Card prior to the contract. The defender, son of head coach Phil Neville, stands as the third player this season to earn a first team contract from Inter Miami 2.
“Harvey has developed well over these last two seasons with Inter Miami CF II. We’re pleased with his progress as a young player in our system and feel his versatility will offer us cover in a number of areas,” said Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson.
The defender initially joined the club in May 2021, registering 21 appearances in the USL League One during his first campaign. He’s played 15 games in MLS NEXT Pro this season, managing two assists.
He’s already spent time with the senior squad, joining the team in preseason and featuring in two international friendlies at DRV PNK Stadium.
