Inter edge past Juventus with Gatti’s unlucky own goal

Inter picked a vital 1-0 win over Juventus in a crucial clash for the top of the Serie A table, extending their lead to four points with a game in hand.

Federico Gatti’s unfortunate own goal in the first half, proved to be the match’s decisive.

The encounter was crucial in the title race for both teams, with Inter still having a game in hand against Atalanta on February 28.

The only goal of the game came in a chaotic sequence, with Benjamin Pavard and Marcus Thuram both failing to connect with the ball before it bounced into the net off Gatti’s stomach.
