While showing off her engagement ring and also affirming the milestone with her partner, she never unveiled her man’s face.

Triggered by this, a Nigerian lady took to the X platform (formerly Twitter) to express anger at the new tradition of hiding her partner’s face practised by women.

In her words;

“I never understand why Nigerian ladies like to hide their men. It just gives credence to the stereotype that Nigerian women are men snatchers. I hate it so much and I’m disappointed in you @SharonOoja.

“Like it or not, in the hierarchy of humans, some people wield influence more than others. The fear of fellow women in our society limits the celebration of one of life’s milestones. Nigerian women’s reputation locally & abroad suffers as a result. These are the issues 😮‍💨.”

Her post has since triggered a wave of reactions from fans of Sharon Ooja who ridiculed the lady for interfering in the affairs of the actress.
