After the game, Iheanacho emphasized the need for the team to stay strong despite their current position and acknowledged the tough nature of the league.

With the many games ahead, he stressed the importance of efficient squad management and the continuation of their winning streak.

“We’re on top now, but it’s a tough league. We need to keep going because there’s a lot of games. We have a big squad, so we need to manage ourselves and keep getting the wins,” he said.

The Nigerian striker has so far scored two goals in nine league appearances this season. Iheanacho also pledged his commitment, stressing that true outcome of their efforts would become evident at the season’s end.
