“I will never ask fans for money or any personal information” – Flavour speaks over fraudsters impersonating him to scam fans

  • Scammers are impersonating him online to obtain money from victims, according to a statement from the individual on his X account.

The public is cautioned by well-known musician Flavour against fraudsters who use his name and likenesses to scam people.

On Monday, he revealed that scammers are now impersonating him online in order to steal money from their victims. He used his X account to warn fans that he would never beg for money from fans.

Flavour asked people to make an effort to report such fraudulent accounts to the authorities if they come across them.

He wrote on his page:

“Scammers are still in the business of impersonating me online. Please be aware that I will NEVER ask fans for money or any personal information.

If you’re contacted by someone claiming to be me, DO NOT engage with them and please report the account to the appropriate authorities.”
