“I went to have fun, not win N120 million prize” –  BBNaija Tolanibaj

Tolanibaj, the reality TV sensation, has revealed that her participation in the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars edition was for the fun of the experience rather than a pursuit of the N120 million cash prize.

The reality TV star made her mark as a contestant in the ongoing BBNaija All-Stars show, but her journey came to an end when she and Frodd were evicted from the competition on August 27, both receiving the lowest number of votes.

Tolanibaj’s time on the show was not without controversy, as she faced criticism for her conduct.

Much of the scrutiny revolved around her interactions with Neo, a fellow contestant, who consistently denied any romantic involvement with her, insisting they were just friends.

She also faced backlash for her persistence in pursuing a relationship with Neo.

In a recently released vlog on her YouTube channel, Tolanibaj addressed the criticism she received, acknowledging that she’s no stranger to being judged and critiqued.

She humorously noted that she had earned the title of “queen of drags” even before entering the Big Brother house, hinting at her ability to handle criticism.

Tolanibaj emphasized that her main goal on the show was not to secure the cash prize.

She pointed out that from the very beginning, she had publicly expressed that she felt no pressure to win and that her primary motive was to have a good time.

“I did not go there to win the money. If you remember, on day one when they asked, I said, ‘no pressure… I am just here to have fun,” she said.

Regarding her decision to limit interactions with the press after her exit from the show, Tolanibaj explained that she simply did not feel the need to grant interviews or provide access to her time.

She expressed a desire to be selective and “selfish” with her time, prioritizing her own needs and preferences.
