“I stopped loving her years ago”

A Nigerian man has expressed his desire to end his marriage, citing a loss of love for his current wife.

The man, who chose to remain anonymous, bared his soul, confessing that he has been grappling with the decision for over two years.

Regrettably, he stated that his feelings towards his wife have evolved into a platonic affection, comparing her to a relative rather than a romantic partner.

With deep conviction, he expressed his unwillingness to endure the marriage for even another month.

Despite the profound nature of his request, the man showed great concern for his family’s well-being, expressing a desire to avoid any undue upheaval.

He expressed his wish for an amicable separation that would not “scatter” his family.

It was evident from his message that the man was prepared to offer a substantial financial settlement to his wife in exchange for her agreement to the divorce.

In his words;

“I want to divorce my wife but I don’t want it to scatter my family. I have fallen out of love with her for over 2 years now. Like, I see her exactly as my relative now. No probs, I have plenty of money to settle her with but I gotta go. I can’t stay in this marriage for another month again.”
