Nigerian actress Kiitan Bukola, whose real name is Oloruntimilehin Bosede Bukola, has opened out about her broken engagement to her former fiancé, Kingsley.
During a podcast conversation with her colleague Debbie Shokoya, Kiitan refuted reports circulating that she had made offensive remarks to her prospective mother-in-law. She said that she regarded her fiancé’s mother as her own, that they prayed together, and that she was often informed about her son.
Kiitan recounted how their romance ended, saying she found her fiancé with a different lady when he was ill.
Recounting the situation, she said that her fiance had contacted the woman to ask for help in taking care of him, and her mother-in-law had called Kiitan to let her know that her boyfriend was sick.
Kiitan Bukola, who was in a different state, was taken aback when she saw another lady posing as his lover at his home. She was forced to remain in the same house as the woman due to the distance, and the three of them shared a bed.
She said that after leaving the next morning, everything ended. Kiitan Bukola, who denied being the owner of the Lekki home that was demolished the previous year, stated:
“I will never in my life insult his mother. I can’t do that, I have a mother. The same mother that I call to report to, the same mother that I call “What do you want?”, and the same mother that will pray together. I have never insulted her and will never. When my fiance was sick he didn’t tell me, he called another lady to come take care of him. It was his mother who told me that he was sick and when I came down to see him, I met the lady there and we both slept on the same bed”.
