I regret accepting my ex-fiancé, Ryan Taylor’s marriage proposal - DJ Cuppy discloses

Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, a Nigerian disc jockey and producer, has admitted that last year was one of the worst years of her life because she didn’t say “No” consistently.

She particularly regretted not saying “No” to Ryan Taylor, her former fiance.

At a recent international event, DJ Cuppy stated that she has finally understood that it is acceptable to say “No.”

In DJ Cuppy’s words:

“One of the things I have learned is saying no. I had one of the worst years of my life last year because I couldn’t say no. I didn’t say no to opportunities that I should have said no to. I didn’t say no to a fiancé I should’ve said no to. I didn’t say no to taking things on.

“I was at the BBC; I had a morning breakfast show, then I was DJing, i was planning a wedding, I was in Oxford University. I burnt myself out. And none of us are either good to ourselves or other people when we burnt out. So, we have to deal with that guilt that comes with saying no. It’s okay to say no.”

Cuppy and Ryan split ways in July 2023, just seven months after their shocking engagement in November 2022.

DJ Cuppy stated that she and Ryan Taylor, her estranged fiancé, were no longer on speaking terms.

Both deleted countless photographs of themselves off social media.

DJ Cuppy finally opened up about her relationship with her ex-fiancé in December 2023. The billionaire’s heiress said that she became engaged around a year ago but has since broken it off.
