Award-winning Afrobeat superstar Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has set social media ablaze with a series of tweets addressing his “opps” (opponents).
In a recent post, the singer expressed his desire to encounter his adversaries in Lagos in a now-deleted tweet on the X (formerly Twitter).
“Otw in Lagos. I pray I run into my opps!” he stated before taking down the post after almost an hour.
This follows a string of cryptic messages from Wizkid aimed at his critics. Days earlier, he declared 2024 as the year for the “death of his opponents” and vowed to outshine his critics with unparalleled success.
The remarks have sparked heated reactions online, with fans and observers speculating about the targets of his comments. While some see it as a bold declaration of dominance in the industry, others have called for reconciliation and focus on music.
