Ogbu Johnson, a budding Nigerian actor, has cleared the air and dispelled any claims that he infringed on Zubby Michael’s rights while the two of them were coworkers on a movie set.
Following the widespread spread of a video of their on-set brawl, Zubby Michael and Ogbu Johnson have generated a significant amount of discussion online.
Destiny Etiko, a well-known friend and ally of Zubby Michael, reacted to the situation in the wake of this online uproar. She fervently counseled budding stars to show respect to seasoned veterans who have successfully carved out a career as A-list superstars.
Zubby Michael agreed with the remarks as a show of support, claiming that Ogbu may have endangered his career by acting disrespectfully.
On October 9, Ogbu Johnson took to Instagram to clarify any misconceptions about any hostility between himself and Zubby.
He made a public speech in which he claimed that the public had misinterpreted his altercation with Zubby and taken it for a genuine fight. Ogbu highlighted that the online video was only a well constructed scenario from a forthcoming film.
Johnson clarified that this theatrical altercation was only intended to demonstrate their skill as actors and raise the bar for cinematic stunts.
Ogbu Johnson made it obvious that he had no malice in him in reaction to Destiny Etiko’s veiled claim that he had disrespected Zubby Michael and Zubby’s subsequent threat.
He clarified that his desire to playing his character as the director intended served as the only motivation for his actions.
Ogbu didn’t hesitate to subtly mock Destiny Etiko, implying that her remarks were made in an effort to foment strife between him and Zubby.
His words;
“Some persons have gone ahead trying to create a rift between myself and my senior brother and industry boss by making it appear that I was disrespectful in interpreting my role to the satisfaction of the director and thereby trying to create bad blood between us.
| make this statement to clear all doubts that I in no way mean to disrespect the person of Zubby Michael my senior colleague and will do no such thing.”
To cap it off, Ogbu extended an olive branch to Zubby Michael by offering a sincere apology. He expressed regret if the trending video of their fictitious altercation had caused any undue embarrassment to Zubby’s personal image and reputation.
