In a TikTok Live video, the mother of one revealed that she lost everything and was almost left homeless.
She however did not give up and continued putting her trust in God.
“My family, friends and people around me know I was almost becoming homeless. Last year was so hard for me. I was on the verge of being homeless. I was in a very bad place. I would lock myself in the room and cry every day. But one thing about me is I never give up on God and praying. In April is when I lost everything, I mean everything,” she said.
She admitted that she couldn’t share such tribulations on social media because of trolling. According to her, things were so tough that she talked to her sister telling her that she wanted to move back at their mom’s place or rent a bedsitter.
Her sister also encouraged her to keep believing that things will be okay.
“If you told me last year at a time like this that I would be able to afford to pay for my trip to Dubai, it means a lot. I remember telling God, I want to make my daughter so proud and I thank God my daughter has able parents. For someone who went from sleeping on a mattress within a year, I upgraded my mum’s car, I travelled thrice, this year I am in Dubai, God never sleeps,” Yvette said.
